NOMOS Zürich Weltzeit Limited Edition Singapore

Zürich Worldtimer Limited Edition 2021: NOMOS Glashütte x The Hour Glass: For too long, we could not travel far. The Hour Glass and NOMOS Glashütte are now compensating for this—with a very special watch in a strictly limited edition: Zürich Worldtimer.

SINGAPORE, OCTOBER 7, 2021. Zürich Worldtimer Limited Edition: A new watch for Singapore and the world. This watch from the famous German watchmaking town of Glashütte knows the time zones of the globe. Whether you want to know the time elsewhere for video calls or phone calls, or you’re a frequent flyer, Zürich Worldtimer Limited Edition helps. And it celebrates the Golden Twenties, which we are all now anticipating, in the most beautiful way: With a gold-plated dial, ultra-modern steel case and fine drawings in red and blue.

These watches are made in Germany: For 175 years, the best mechanical watches have been built here, in Glashütte. In keeping with this tradition of craftsmanship, the independent watch manufacturer has now created 50 of these special limited edition watches, with the new gold dial. In this limited edition, Singapore has its own place on the dial’s city disc—with yet another nod to the Southeast Asian city-state also known as the “Little Red Dot”. Wherever the wearer of the watch happens to be, the little red dot at three o’clock indicates what time it is back home.

The sapphire crystal case back reveals the fine mechanical movement that ticks at the heart of the watch: The NOMOS automatic caliber DUW 5201, developed and constructed in-house in the famous watchmaking town of Glashütte. The movement knows (almost) all the time zones of the world—and they are shown in a particularly beautiful form: A discreet button on the case, a small time disc, and the red symbol on the dial. That’s all this watch needs to make traveling elegant and wonderfully simple.

Collector value is virtually built-in from the factory in these models—as in the legendary first Red Dot Worldtimer model 2017: There are only 50 examples. Price: 8,030 Singapore dollars.
