Watches of Switzerland 60th Anniversary Limited Editions

Proudly homegrown in the 'Little Red Dot' that is Singapore, Watches of Switzerland may be a household name in the realm of specialist watch retailers today, but in 1965, it started as a single humble boutique. The trademark was registered in 1964, and in the 60 years since then, the company has evolved immensely to become what it is now. It saw several changes of hands until, in 2014, The Hour Glass acquired Watches of Switzerland in a friendly buyout. With bigger ambitions for the company, Watches of Switzerland was rebranded with a new logo and swiftly expanded its international presence across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

From Singapore to New Zealand


Today, Watches of Switzerland has a retail network that spans from Singapore to New Zealand to Malaysia and Vietnam, with an impressive portfolio of brands like Breitling, Grand Seiko, Longines, Omega, TAG Heuer, and Tudor. Additionally, it secured partnerships with prestigious brands like DOXA, Frederique Constant, Junghans, Louis Erard, NOMOS Glashütte, and Sinn.

Reflecting on how the company started from a humble store at Raffles Place to becoming one of the leading watch retailers in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region 60 years later is gratifying. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Watches of Switzerland has curated a pop-up exhibition themed around '60 Revolutions', showcasing the retailer's journey through the last six decades. The theme represents the company's remarkable 60 orbits around the sun. It also symbolises its approach to advancement and vision for the future—similar to how a watch measures time through its revolving hands around the dial.

Watches of Switzerland 60th Anniversary Exhibition


The '60 Revolutions' exhibition will take place in VivoCity's Main Atrium from 25th June to 7th July (10am to 9 pm). It will include participation from cult enthusiast favourites, allowing visitors to explore the brands and their watches. The exhibition highlights the latest creations from Behrens, Doxa, Frederique Constant, Louis Erard, NOMOS Glashütte and Sinn.

‘60 Revolutions’ Collection of Limited-Edition Watches

Crafted in collaboration with eight of Watches of Switzerland's brand partners, each watch model is available in limited pieces and represents the appreciation for artistry and precision synonymous with the company. The first limited-edition comes from Louis Erard.


Famed for their spectacular collaborations, it seemed only fitting that Louis Erard would once again work with renowned Alain Silberstein for a piece to commemorate Watches of Switzerland’s anniversary. Each of the 18 limited sets of Le Diptyque Louis Erard x Alain Silberstein combines two highly coveted pieces, each in a 40mm sapphire crystal case with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. One is a manual-winding watch with up to 100 hours of power reserve, spotlighted by a tourbillon, while the other is an automatic watch featuring a day-date indicator. Both are furnished with a glossy grey dial and a matching grey nylon strap.
