Trilobe forges a new path in watchmaking by pioneering a unique approach of time: A time put in motion, a time now liberated.

Trilobe puts an end to 7 centuries of horological tradition by offering a new way to read time, freeing it from the constraint of hands and setting it in motion. Time is carried away in a dance, around three rotating rings that move across the dial, counterclockwise.

The design of this creation favors minimalism and plays with perceptions. Raw and uncluttered, the unstructured dial opens three distinct windows: The largest ring for hours; the minutes wheel that appears within an aperture; The seconds wheel, which alternates between a “Clous de Paris” centre and an azured ring.

With its rotating and floating eccentric rings, this collection hits new heights by combining fine watchmaking traditions with a contemporary design. The dial, open for the first time, enables to savor the watchmaking craftsmanship of the X-Centric calibre, without losing sight of the rotating rings’ singularity. The three rings of the hours, minutes and seconds are tiered and fly under a colossal sapphire bubble of 10.2mm in height, a true watchmaking prowess.

The sunray dial is made of five parts, three of which are in permanent rotation: The largest ring for hours, the medium ring for minutes and the smallest ring for seconds. Eccentric and mobile, they turn counterclockwise on the dial. The trilobe, a universal and timeless architectural shape that echoes the three pillars of time (Hours, Minutes and Seconds), measures the passage of time.

L'Heure Exquise

With an enchanting celestial door opening at the heart of the sand-blasted dial, this collection marks the Maison's entry into the world of lyrical horological complications. The dial reveals a ballet of stars dancing on a sapphire crystal to the rythm of the seconds and two moons interwining in a rythmic you-and-me. For the first time, the moon phase is co-axially linked to the seconds wheel, under a dynamic and mesmerizing starry sky.
