The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.

All Rolex watches are assembled by hand with the utmost care to ensure exceptional quality. Such high standards naturally restrict Rolex production capacity and, at times, the demand for Rolex watches outpaces this capacity.

Therefore, the availability of certain models may be limited. New Rolex watches are exclusively sold by Official Rolex Retailers, who receive regular deliveries and independently manage the allocation and sales of watches to customers.

The Hour Glass is proud to be part of the worldwide network of Official Rolex Retailers and can provide information on the availability of Rolex watches.

Louis Erard empowers those who dare to defy the status quo to own true craftsmanship.
Louis Erard disrupts the status quo, making artisanal craftsmanship accessible. Its artistic crafts timepieces defy tradition with a contemporary edge, shaped by boundary-breaking artisans. Since 1929, independence has fueled their fire, inspired by the untamed spirit of the Swiss jura and building upon the iconic regulators and mechanical watches. Under Manuel Emch’s leadership, Louis Erard prioritizes innovation over conformity and lasting excellence over rapid growth, forging a new path in watchmaking. Collaborating with visionaries such as Alain Silberstein, Olivier Mosset, and Sylvie Fleury, the brand transcends artistic boundaries, seizing and playing with new codes to design timepieces disrupting the very essence of time itself.

At a glance, every watch—whether from the Sport, Heritage or Elegance Collection—is recognisably Grand Seiko. Why is this? The answer lies in the unique aesthetic of Grand Seiko and in its very Japanese sense of natural beauty. At the heart of this aesthetic is the Japanese reverence for the way that light paints an ever-changing and subtle picture of our world. In Japan, light and dark are not just absolutes; they are the outer ends of a continuum of shadow. The Japanese sensibility delights in the interplay of light, shadow, and darkness, and the myriad gradations they form. Every Grand Seiko design fully embraces the harmony of light, dark, and shadow. The impression that each Grand Seiko watch creates is always changing, allowing the timepiece to express not only its enduring and understated beauty but also the uniqueness of every moment. Grand Seiko is a watch that celebrates both light and time.

The silhouette of a Grand Seiko watch is crafted from sharp, flat surfaces and straight lines. These surfaces are highly polished by hand by highly skilled craftsmen and women to a perfect, distortion-free mirror finish. The rectangular indexes are diamond cut so that every surface catches the light, as are the broad hour, minute and seconds hands. From the painstaking attention paid to all these elements comes the high legibility and sparkle of quality that have always been the hallmark of Grand Seiko.

Every Grand Seiko watch marks the passage of time with a profound respect for the natural world, expressed through its purity of design, in its quiet sobriety, and meticulous attention to detail.

Helmut Sinn, an instructor for blind flight and former World War II pilot, founds the company “Helmut Sinn Spezialuhren” in Frankfurt am Main. The company’s core business is the manufacture of, navigation clocks and pilot chronographs.

Since its founding in 1961, the company has focused on high-quality, mechanical watches. The result: Sinn timepieces that people can rely on throughout their lives and that guarantee the highest precision even under extreme conditions. This reliability of Sinn watches can be experienced firsthand and verified by objective methods.”

Since its beginning in 2002, De Bethune has demonstrated an original approach to classic watchmaking. The brand’s vision of doing not more, but better has led the brand to produce timepieces of exceptional aesthetic, elegance and intelligence.

De Bethune is an independent Swiss watch manufacturer located in L’Auberson, in the Jura mountain pastures of the canton of Vaud, Switzerland. Here, around 30 employees—including watchmakers, engineers, developer-designers, micromechanical engineers, polishers, and decorators—focus firmly on the research and development of technical and aesthetic innovations, in the spirit of the great 18th-century master watchmakers.

When the first DB28 was launched in 2010, De Bethune’s vision was to present a watch with a unique identity and a resolutely futuristic interpretation of the art of watchmaking. Its distinctive case shape and the crown positioned at 12 o’clock, inspired by pocket watches, are just some of the hallmarks of the contemporary aesthetic unique to De Bethune. This watch also introduced De Bethune’s innovative and patented floating lugs, designed to significantly enhance comfort, demonstrating their self-evident purpose. Since then, the DB28 has continued to embody the past, present, and future of watchmaking culture through its various iterations.

In 1846, Ulysse founded his name company in Le Locle. The time is one of bold ocean exploration and international trade. As the son of one of the most talented and visionary watchmakers in history, Paul-David not only ensures the Maison continue to grow, he also carries on its spirit of innovation, ensuring the renown of its name.

With its spirit of determination and audacity, Ulysse Nardin has written some of the finest chapters in the history of Haute Horlogerie by creating every opportunity brought by existence, by exploring and pushing further and further the boundaries of the watchmakers’ imaginations and by keeping in mind that exploring is to stop at nothing until to reach a heightened sense of comprehension.
