The Tudor Black Bay has been one of the Manufacture’s most popular collections to date during the recent cocktail event, held at Jewel Changi in Singapore. This was to celebrate and revel in the reveal of the Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze Boutique Edition.

At only 39 mm, what makes the watch special is its all-bronze case that is satin-brushed. The watch’s colour will also evolve in due time to match the wearer’s habits. The Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze Boutique Edition also has a matching bronze riveted strap with the brand’s signature “T-fit” clasp with rapid adjustment. If you want something more casual, the watch also comes with a complimentary brown-bronze fabric strap that resembles the look of a NATO strap.

The domed dial of the Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze Boutique Edition has a gradient matte brown-bronze look with cream/off-white hour markers whilst also featuring Arabic numerals at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. Protecting the dial is a domed sapphire crystal glass surrounded by a unidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-minute graduated matte “brown-bronze” anodised aluminium disc, draped in bronze as well.

Beating at the heart of the watch is the MT5400 self-winding mechanical movement with a bidirectional rotor system. This was first spotted in the Black Bay 54 and the Manufacture calibre has been touted as a “weekend-proof” watch with its 70-hour power reserve. It also has a water resistance level of up to 200 m.

Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze Boutique Edition

During the cocktail event for the Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze Boutique Edition, guests were invited to check out and try on the watch amidst a close community of enthusiasts and collectors. Held at the Tudor boutique within Watches of Switzerland at Jewel Changi, many were allowed to witness the Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze Boutique Edition up close and personal for a better look. Guests were also available to view a step-by-step process of how the bronze dial is created.

Another watch that garnered plenty of attention was the Tudor Black Bay Ceramic “Blue”, which many are more than familiar with. Despite not being a brand-new watch, it was released earlier this year to commemorate Tudor’s relationship with the Visa Cash App Red Bull Formula1 team. This was evident with its bold blue hue splashed across the dial to go with its black ceramic case.

The Tudor Black Bay 58 Bronze Boutique Edition is available at The Hour Glass and Tudor Boutiques by The Hour Glass.
