Big changes are coming to LVMH after its Watches Division CEO, Frédéric Arnault announced some major reshuffling that will come into effect on 1st September 2024.

Ricardo Guadalupe will be moving on from his role as CEO of the company and instead, he will take up the mantle of Honorary President of Hublot as he wishes to step back from operational management. Having been the CEO for more than a decade, Guadalupe was responsible for bringing Hublot to new heights with exciting collaborations as well as purposeful watches.

This included works with critically-acclaimed artists like Daniel Arsham and Takashi Murakami as well as its long-standing partnership with footballing giants FIFA and UEFA. Ricardo Guadalupe has been with Hublot for two decades and he oversaw the brand’s growth from before it was acquired by LVMH in 2008. He was also part of Hublot’s heritage when it launched its first-ever Big Bang Chronograph back in Basel 2005, which was during the era of Jean-Claude Biver.

Taking over from Guadalupe will be Julien Tornare, who is currently the CEO of TAG Heuer. Despite having a brief role that has not spanned a year, Tornare does have a successful track record with his previous stint as President and CEO of Zenith. This saw him reinvigorate the brand and bring some of its already successful pieces like the Pilot collection as well as the DEFY series to the limelight.

Succeeding Tornare will be Antoine Pin, who right now is the General Manager of Bvlgari Horlogerie. Pin has been with Bvlgari since 2019 and the move will see him make a return to Zenith. Having had stints at both TAG Heuer and Berluti as well, Pin will make his return to Zenith having left 17 years prior.

There are some big executive changes for the LVMH Watches Division as it looks to revamp and elevate its Maisons.
