Nomos Tetra Neomatik: Celebrating 175 Years of Glashütte Watchmaking
Nomos celebrates 175 years of Glashütte Watchmaking with four colourful new models of the Tetra neomatik.
Tetra, But Different
Experimenting with colour is nothing new at Nomos. Until now, the Tetra have been offered in subtle shades. But this time, Nomos is stepping up the game. To celebrate 175 years of Glashütte watchmaking, the new limited series of Tetra neomatik comes in four striking tones. Red, blue, black, and off-white, the new, crisp dial colours of the Tetra neomatik are for people who know their own mind.
Nomos uses an enamel-like coating technique that ensures incoming light is reflected, not absorbed, by the opaque surfaces. As a result, the colours appear much deeper and more crisp. A bit extravagant, a little idiosyncratic, some might even call them edgy. The new models are neither feminine nor masculine – these are watches for everyone.
German Swing
The new Tetra is powered by the in-house built DUW 3001 automatic movement. It features the NOMOS swing system ensuring outstanding accuracy. The highly precise movement is unusually slender at a height of only 3.2mm. The bidirectional winding rotor delivers a 43-hour power reserve. It has the hallmark features of Glashütte watchmaking: three-quarter plate with Glashütte ribbing, tempered blue screws, and rhodium-plated surfaces with Nomos perlage.
The new Nomos Tetra neomatik – 175 years of Watchmaking Glashtte is a limited edition of 175 pieces each in off-white, red, blue, and black. The stainless steel 33mm square watch comes on a brown stitched shell cordovan strap with a matching stainless steel deployant clasp.
